PersistentVariables for newer Version

Hi,

 

i was just trying to set up nigthswitch for a 11.41.13018 Server. it seemed to work out, but entering a 1 wont change the .Value value, nor does entering a 0 changes it to 0 when i select 1 to be default.

Is there an issue with newer versions?

The persistent variables are completely independent from the installed SwyxWare version.

 

If values are not getting stored there must be any kind of problem with the database in behind. Have you set the "db_owner" or the "db_datareader"/"db_datawriter" roles for database login?

 

You can check the LatestError and LatestDescription properties for any hints, or search the SwyxServer trace file for "persistentvariable" and see if you find some hint (error) in there.
