"Bringing the world closer": The unified communications solution from Swyx connects the German base of the electronics group, Hisense, with the "rest of the world".

The dedication of the Hisense electronics group for innovative technologies not only influences the development of its own products, but also demonstrates itself in the continual optimisation of communications and collaboration within the company. In the course of its ongoing world-wide expansion, the global player sought a flexible communications solution for its German subsidiary in Düsseldorf, to meet its high requirements – and finally decided on the innovative IP telephone system from Swyx. Swyx Gold Partner, Frings Informatic Solutions was responsible for the installation of the software-based communications solution, including all the necessary devices across the sites.

A significant argument for choosing Swyx was that the communications solution of the unified communications provider could easily be connected to the telephone system of the Chinese parent company. What was also impressive about the easy to use IP solution was the possibility of communicating free of charge with all world-wide Hisense locations thanks to Internet telephony. The entire implementation of the Swyx solution as well as the connection of the Hisense sites was implemented by specialists at Frings Informatic Solutions.

Efficient communication

Because Swyx's solution is integrated with frequently used applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Hisense can make communications and work processes more efficient. With the unified communications solution, the PC combined with a classic desk phone, head- or handset, becomes a universal communications and work platform. Users can start and receive calls simply with a mouse click. Practical functions such as intelligent call forwarding improve accessibility: Users can define specific criteria and adapt call forwarding dependent on date or calendar entries. The communications solution also scored well thanks to its simple scalability and flexible expansion possibilities. With an update service, Swyx and Frings Informatic Solutions ensure a high degree of security on the investment as the solution is always up-to-date. "Swyx enables us to provide flexible, cost-effective communications – at any time of the day or night, or across continents. As a partner, Frings Informatic Solutions has convinced us at all stages of our collaboration with its excellent consultancy competence and comprehensive service. After the successful implementation, the company also supports our ongoing operation and has provided us with reliable communications at all times," says Herbert Horwat, who, as Senior Specialist Service at Hisense, recommended the communications solution to the parent company.

Founded in 1969 in China, Hisense is one of the world's leading manufacturers of TVs and other entertainment electronics, household appliances, air conditioners and mobile communication devices. The company employs around 69,000 people at 17 production sites and 14 research and development facilities around the world.
