Jonathan Riedmair Posted September 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2016 I select all data from the [UserPhoneCalls]-Table in the Swyx-DB. The result shows, there are only 1212 entries. The affected DB is used frequently for a period over 6 years now and should contain much more data. Everytime a new call inbounds, it keeps me showing there are 1212 entries storing the phone-call information. Therefor I assume Swyx-IT is removing old calls. But if I look into the column [DateTime] it shows up, there is one entry for 2013 while there are 6 entries for 2010. The IDs of the rows are not consecutive - there are huge spaces. The more current the date, the more rows are available for that timespan. Q: Is there any magic that removes stored phone-calls from the [UserPhoneCalls]-Table and if - why is that? Q: Is there any way to get the information of those missing calls that surely took place? Thanks in advance for your assistance, Cheers, John
Tom Wellige Posted September 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2016 A1: Yes, as this table is used for the regular call journal of a user which have a maximum size configured. A2: Yes, but not in that table but solely via the Call Detail Records. Per default the CDRs are written in to text files, but can easily be switched over to be written into a database. Jonathan Riedmair Posted September 28, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted September 28, 2016 Thank you Tom, for your quick reply! Can you tell me where those text files are located and furthermore how to switch to store all calls permanentely in the database?
Tom Wellige Posted September 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2016 For the location you just need to take a look into the SwyxWare Administration: Here you also switch over to database usage. The following knowledgebase article gives more details about that: https://www.swyx.com/support/ssdb.html?kbid=kb2491
