According to the latest research from the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF) 63% of UK enterprises are now planning to move their entire IT estate to the Cloud in the near future.  Cloud adoption remains high with 78% of businesses using Cloud services. This is likely to increase to 85% within the next two years. In those businesses using Cloud, three quarters expect to increase their usage in 2016. These trends are reflected in the demand of Swyx‘s Cloud products.

With the digital conversion of the telephone network to IP-based technology, more and more companies are moving to a cloud-based infrastructure. However, the transition to all-IP is not the only reason for the growing popularity of cloud. In particular, medium-sized companies are increasingly discovering the numerous advantages of accessing their communications system via a data centre. Examples of benefits include negating the need to invest in expensive hardware and server rooms, lower call rates and cost-savings resulting from free IP-based calls between different company sites.

In addition, IP-based systems offer an innovative range of services that enable users to access many functions and features not possible with a traditional PBX . Mobile devices can also be integrated into the telephone system to enable location and device-independent working.

Communications systems can now be managed easily via a web browser and Swyx’s solutions for example provide user interfaces that can be customised to different workflows.  This makes the configuration, management and integration of employees both easy and flexible.

Whether companies choose classic Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) or cloud solutions - Swyx offers the right system to maximise productivity. When developing new products, the Dortmund-based company has always focused on the needs of its customers. Also the increasing demand for the cloud coincides with more innovative solutions from the unified communications specialist. In this way, the cloud delivers growth for both business customers and Swyx.
