Using CodeGear RAD Studio possible?

Hello,

we develop our own CRM-software with integrated telephone - support via TAPI.

Now we switched to Swyx and use softphones with installed tapi-services.

So far, so good.

Now we need some additional features within our software.

One of them is the possibility to record a phone - call (partly or complete, depending by request) and store it assigned to the customer / event.

Formerly we simply record the line-in from the soundcard, where the telephonewas connected by an audio-cable.

Now, with the softphone, we use USB-Handset / USB-Headset and we can record our own voice only.

From the Swyx-Hotline, we need an additional Recording - License and then it should be possible to record with the Softphone.

At this point - because we NEED this function within our crm - is the question:

Is it possible to implement this function with the Client SDK (or do we need another SDK)

and is it possible using another compiler as Microsoft Visual Studio?

Any help or directions would be appreciated.

Greetings from bavaria ;-)

The Client SDK is actually the COM interface of the "Client Line Manager". So any language that is able to access common Windows COM/DCOM interfaces will be fine.

The SwyxIt! client, which runs on top of the "Client Line Manager", uses the same interface. So all telephony functionality that can be used manually in the SwyxIt! client can also be programmatically via the Client SDK i.e. COM interface of the "Client Line Manager".

Recording is part of that.

Have a nice weekend,

Tom.
