asgmbh Posted August 3, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2022 Hello Swyx community, we have a bit of a special problem: We have Netphone client (version 12.30.19413). In our skin we are using the statusdisplay - where you can see, and change your status if you are online, absent or "do not disturb". But you can as well get access to the advanced properties, where you can change the behaviour when to signal the "absent" status to others (see attached screenshot). With shortcut "Alt+Enter" you can open this window also. We want to keep the statusdisplay as well as the possibility to change your status - but want to deactivate access to the advanced properties window (and the "Alt+Enter" shortcut). Unfortunately even restrict access to registry keys where the settings are stored doesnt do the trick. The client seems to only look there at the start of the pc or when you log in. So an user can freely change the setting in the running time of the client. Even when the users doesnt have any rights (this is set in netphone server user settings), he has still access to this feature. I have looked into the skin editor, and you can deactivate the context menu from the statusdisplay element, but this oddly only locks the left mouse click? With right click and shortcut you still have access to the advanced properties window. For the meantime we now have an extra skin without this status element - but as i mentioned the users should have the possibility to change their status. And there is no other element in the editor that has this funcionality. Has any of you perhaps had a similar problem with keeping an element in a netphone skin, but restrict some functions of it? Or is there a chance to create an element yourself, which you can then use in the editor? Best regards asgmbh
