Pausing Trunk Call Recording - PCI-DSS

I see that there was a previous chat about this topic but no resolution was ever posted.

 

I am looking for a solution with the following procedure.

 

  1. All calls are recorded automatically
  2. Our system can pause the call recording through the Swyx Client SDK
  3. Our system can start the call recording again through the Swyx Client SDK once the credit card process has been completed.

 

The information I need.

 

  • How to configure the Truck Call Recording
  • Which user permissions do I need to give
  • Any additional helpful information

It is possible to configure DTMF sequences to enable and disable trunk recording. This is explained here:

 

You can send those DTMF sequences via the Client SDK (or even pre-defined shortcut keys). 

 

Stopping and starting the recording again will trigger announcements, so the caller will know about it.
