Hello,

I want to create a script to answer a incoming call (an automatic gate). When the call is answered the script must send a key number 1 to the gate so the gate will open.

If the call is answered on my swyx phone or forward to my mobile phone I can press the number one (1) to open the gate.

So I thought I can download an dtmf sound file of the number 1 and just play the file in the call routing script. But that is not working, I can here at the gate speaker the sound file but the gate will not open.

How can I send the number one (1) trough an call routing script?

You have chosen the right way, this is how I use it in some setups

Please check SIP settings on the door phone, maybe you can configure/allow "inband" as DTMF transportation type.

Second way is some kind of http Api request to the door phone, some vendors (e.g. my preferred one, Doorbird) allow this.
