If you are visiting the forum every once in a while and want to know, what has happened while you were gone, what options do you have?

 

The default forum view is not really of help here:

 

 

Also the two other available view do not really help in quickly and comfortably finding new content:

 

 

 

 

But of course the forum comes with an easy way to the new content:

 

 

This will bring you to a list of all posts and comments in the forum you haven't read yet. There are two different version of the list available. One compact and another one showing also some content of the posts/comments:

 

 

 

 

Once you have read everything you are interested in and don't want to see the rest of the unread content the next time you come back, just mark the entire content of the forum as read:

 

 

If, after you marked the entire site as read, you sort of want to come back to everything that happened lately, you can switch to the activity list:

 

 

The activity lists goes endless back into the history of the forum and shows not only posts, comments and file uploads but also new users joining in:

 

 

 

 

This is how to easily find new content and make sure you are not seeing things double and triple times.
