dagur Posted January 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2017 I had to reinstall a Swyx server last week after the old one broke. Fortunately, I had a database backup. It was installed on a new server and I am facing a strange problem. It seems that SwyxIt Clients can not put calls on hold (and therefore not transfer calls) and I am unable to play any announcements or hold music through the Call Routing. The call routing just fails and does not accept the call. Any ideas what could be wrong? I've been trying to see if the server needs a sound card and I don't see any requirements for it listed anywhere. I tried enabling the audio service on the server, but it didn't work. Can anyone confirm that it might be that a sound card is needed. I'm using SwyxWare 2015 R3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Everything works now as expected, except music on hold or any other announcement. OS is Server2008 R2 ISDN Card is SX2 BRI SwyxWare 7 Any suggestions what I possibly made wrong?
